Map Overview

The Quest

In your adventures you run into Brother Kojo. Confused and in desparate need of help from an adventurer such as yourself, he seeks the missing cogs necessary to fix his watch tower.

Right click and choose Talk-to brother Kojo.

Ask him how you may help, you will find out that he seeks 4 cogs to fix his watch tower. Blue, Black, Red, and White.

Should you venture down the ladder next to Brother Kojo, you will notice 4 tiles representing all 4 missing cogs and the direction you will need to venture to obtain them. Please note, you may only carry one cog at a time, and once obtained, they will need to be placed into their respective location in order to pick up the next cog.

Blue Cog

The blue cog is locked inside of a cell with a dungeon rat. You need to find another way to get to it as it is not accessible through the south western door.

The location of the blue cog. Go outside of the Clock Tower and head north-east to where Brother Cedric is (from the Monk's Friend quest) just south of the Ardougne Zoo. You will notice a ladder just south of the camel cage from the Ardougne Zoo, around the oak tree.

Go down the ladder and follow the long, winding passage until the end, until you get to a wall that you can push. Push the wall to get inside and pick up the blue cog.

Climb up the ladder in this cage and you'll find yourself south of the Clock Tower.

Head back inside and climb the stairs to the 2nd floor[US] and use the blue cog with the blue spindle.

Right click and choose to Climb-down the staircase to return to ground level.

Black Cog

Go back downstairs and down the ladder in the Clock Tower, then head through the north-eastern door from the tile room and go as far east as you can until you see several level 2 spiders.

You will see the black cog surrounded by short walls of fire. This is where the you will need the bucket of water.

To pick up the cog, you will have to pour the water over the cog. This will cool the cog down so that you can pick it up.

After getting the black cog, head back to the ladder where you first entered, but don't go up. You should see four spindles near the ladder; use the black cog with the black spindle (eastern spindle).

Red Cog

Head through the south-eastern door, indicated by the red tile and walk down the passageway until you see some Ogres.

The red cog will be on the floor where the Ogres are. Run over and pick it up then return to the ladder where you came from.

Climb up to the 1st floor[US] (same level as Brother Kojo) and use the red cog on the red spindle. The spindles are located on a column beside the ground-floor ladder.

White Cog

Return to the tile room and head through the north-western door, indicated by the white tile and follow the outer passageway until you find some rat poison.

Pick up the poison, then go north-east down the long passageway until you see two levers near the dungeon rats. Pull the levers up to open the rat cage (indicated by the doors propping open, pull again if they do not both appear open). Then head through the two gates and use the poison that you picked up before with the food trough.

The dungeon rats will eat the poisoned food and begin to die. Wait until they've all died, and then you'll find that the gate to the west has become unhinged. Head through the western gate until you find the white cog. Pick it up and use the ladder nearby to appear outside of the Clock Tower.

Go inside and climb to the topmost floor. Now, use the white cog with the white spindle on the top floor.

Finishing up

Once you've placed all of the cogs on their corresponding spindles, head back to Brother Kojo, and he will reward you.
