This page, and all subpages of it, are intended to document the mechanics of Barbarian Assault. The minigame itself is not yet implemented in the game. This is due to Ryan taking more than the two days that he had promised to code it. Because of this we added a custom way of getting the Fighter Torso which requires 7,5m to purchase. The Dialogue shows how many days since Ryan made the promise. minigame occurs in instanced caves. The cave is the spatial setting for the Barbarian Assault minigame. All Barbarian Assault gameplay occurs inside a Barbarian Assault cave.
There are 2 caves, which will be referred to here as the Standard Cave and the Queen Cave.
Both caves have a very similar layout. Many aspects of their layout are identical, and are described in this section.
The entire cave is a multicombat zone.
The shape of the cave is a somewhat ovaloid shape. The shape of both caves is identical. The diameter of the cave is 50(?) squares.
There are elevated platforms in each cave, located near the cave's center. These platforms have cannons on them. Penance cannot climb onto the platforms, so they function as safespots for players. The platforms are 8(?) squares in diameter. Each cave has at least 1 platform.
On the north wall of the cave there are 4 spawn points, spaced 10(?) squares apart. Each spawn point spawns exactly 1 type of penance. From west to east, the 4 spawn points spawn

On the south wall of the cave, there are resources for the players.
To the west of the runner escape cave is the healer pool, which contains liquid that can heal players. Only the healer role can use this pool.
To the east of the runner escape cave, there are 4 dispensers, which perform useful or necessary functions for each of the 4 roles. There is 1 dispenser for each role. From west to east, the dispensers are: Attacker, Defender, Healer, Collector.
On the far east end of the southern wall, there is a large raised platform, containing the Horn of Glory. Penance cannot climb onto this platform.

The standard cave has 2 central cannon platforms, to the east and west of the cave's center.
The queen cave has 1 central cannon platform, to the west of the cave's center.
The queen cave has a collection of miscellaneous specialty resources littered throughout the circumference of the cave, which are used to help defeat the queen.
